Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen Fused in One of the Most Spectacular Edits You’ll See

fusion de kimetsu no yaiba

Kimetsu no Yaiba left us in episode 7 of the Pillars’ Training with what is arguably the most relevant moment of the mostly anecdotal arc.

Muzan Kibutsuji finds himself face to face with Kagaya Ubuyashiki, but how did we get here? In a LONG sequence that allowed Muzan to strut around like the divine being he is. However, someone thought that combining this moment with “Jujutsu Kaisen” would make it shine even brighter.

If Kimetsu no Yaiba Used Jujutsu Kaisen’s Music, the Result Would Be This Edit

Below, I’ll share the edit posted by @calibryh, where you can see Muzan’s walk set to the rhythm of ‘Specialz’ from “Jujutsu Kaisen”:

Let’s be honest: ufotable made sure that Muzan’s presentation was as cinematic as possible. After all, what we see in this long walk doesn’t appear in the manga:

  • In the Kimetsu no Yaiba manga, Koyoharu Gotouge illustrated Muzan’s arrival before Ubuyashiki as a single page. This makes sense, as multiple pages of a character walking wouldn’t be the most interesting thing for readers.
  • ufotable’s decision to extend this scene is a consequence of managing this phase of the anime, which, unlike previous seasons, has featured more original content than usual.

Speaking of which, I should mention that season 4 of “Kimetsu no Yaiba” has included the most filler since the anime began. That’s why I’ve created a small guide with all the ‘extra’ content found in the anime that is NOT part of the manga, in one way or another. You can check it out below:

What to Expect in the Final Episode of Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 4

Finally, I’ll remind you that season 4 of “Kimetsu no Yaiba” will have a total of 8 episodes. Indeed, episode 7 had some additional duration and featured Muzan, as it wraps up the events of ‘The Pillars’ Training.’ Consequently, episode 8 will be even longer to introduce what we’ll see in the anime’s final stretch. It’s hard to say if there will be time for another edit like this with “Jujutsu Kaisen,” but what’s coming will undoubtedly not disappoint anyone.
