Beyond the new episodes of the anime and the manga (the latter seems to be quite epic), the franchise’s creators had a special announcement related to the Netflix live-action adaptation in store for us.

Several sources indicated that filming for the second season of the One Piece live-action series would begin this very week. And, as many users had hoped, Netflix revealed the first wave of actors to join the cast of the show.
One Piece Live Action Adds More Baroque Works Members
One Piece Live Action the official Netflix account unveiled the actors who will portray four members of Baroque Works (Banda Baroque in Spanish), the criminal organization that will serve as the antagonist in this second season.
- Mr. 3 will be played by David Dastmalchian (The Dark Knight, Gotham, Ant-Man) 🔥
- Miss Valentine will be portrayed by Jazzara Jaslyn (Lioness, A Cinderella Story) 🌞
- Mr. 5 will be embodied by Camrus Johnson (Batwoman, There’s Johnny) 💣
- Mr. 9 will be played by Daniel Lasker (The Signal, Raised by Wolves) 🤴🏻

Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine
Jazzara Jaslyn, who has appeared in Lioness and A Cinderella Story, will take on the role of the seductive and dangerous Miss Valentine. As Mr. 5’s partner, she’ll stop at nothing to carry out the orders of the Baroque Works leader, Crocodile.
Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5
Camrus Johnson, known for his roles in Batwoman and There’s Johnny, will play the explosive Mr. 5. With his Devil Fruit powers that allow him to transform any part of his body into a bomb, Mr. 5 is a force to be reckoned with.
Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9
Daniel Lasker, who has appeared in The Signal and Raised by Wolves, will portray the loyal and determined Mr. 9. As the partner of Miss Wednesday, Mr. 9 will do whatever it takes to fulfill his mission for Baroque Works.
