
Gear 5 the live-action adaptation of “One Piece” is a show that many of us are eagerly awaiting after the success of its first season. The long journey of the Straw Hat Pirates has only just begun, and while arcs like Dressrosa or Marineford are still far away, events like Luffy’s use of Gear 5 seem almost light-years away. However, Japan has given us an answer to the question of what Luffy’s Gear 5 should look like in the Netflix series.

Honestly, even if Netflix rushes to get the “One Piece” live-action series into production quickly, we’re still several years away from seeing Gear 5 in action. In fact, we haven’t even seen Gear 2 in the series yet, so that alone speaks volumes about how far away we are. However, official videos like this set a precedent for what we should expect in the future, and personally, I wouldn’t mind at all if the USJ version of Gear 5 ends up being the same or very similar in the live-action series.
