Recap of Kaiju No. 8 Season 1
In the world of anime, monsters called kaiju regularly cause disasters and attack humanity. In Japan, the level of attack of these creatures is the highest, and to protect civilians, the government has formed a special defense team that can be joined by passing a difficult exam.
Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro promised each other as children that they would join the defense team and fight the monsters that destroy their city. However, their paths quickly diverged.
