Hell’s Paradise is at the center of all the attention after having landed on the small screen at the beginning of April with the first animated adaptation. As for the manga, written and drawn by Yuji Kaku, it ended in 2021, but there is something new. Indeed, to celebrate the premiere of the anime, the mangaka will resume work on the manga for a new special chapter taking place after the main events.

New special chapter Hell’s Paradise
The series Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku was published in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ digital magazine from 2018 to 2021. But apparently, there was more to be said about Gabimaru.
The Hell’s Paradise anime is part of the Spring 2023 anime schedule and the manga will return with a new one-shot chapter set after the events of the original series. This one-shot is entitled “Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku – Side Story: Forest of Misfortune” (“Forest of Misfortune”).
The update comes directly from the official Twitter page of Shonen Jump. Below is the announcement:

The one-shot is available for free at the link given in the post and predicts that Gabimaru will discover that cultivating a life is much harder than killing it.
The first season of Hell’s Paradise is produced by Studio MAPPA, and all episodes are broadcast on Crunchyroll, available with Italian subtitles. The anime is directed by Kaori Makita and Akira Kindaichi is in charge of the composition of the series. Koji Hisaki is the character designer and Yoshiaki Dewa is in charge of the composition and the soundtrack.

The events revolve around the dreaded ninja Gabimaru, considered unbeatable. Imprisoned, he only wants to wait for an executioner to kill him. But the executioner Asaemon gives him the chance to live again with his wife if he agrees to venture into a dangerous land to recover the secret of eternal life for the shogun.
